    Tuesday Tales WINNER 24!

    Challenge #24

     By entering, every contestant agrees to shamelessly promote and praise the winner on twitter.

    For all discussions about this challenge use hash tag #TuesdayTales

    I am happy to have this week’s Tuesdaytales Judgemasters take over:

    @JenD_Author

    Aspiring Paranormal-Suspense author. She plays with ghosts and monsters, and likes it.
    & Host of #fridaypictureshow flashfiction challenge

    WINNER

    @surlymuse

    Daniel Swensen

    Daniel Swensen

    Fantasy writer, blogger, RPG / sci-fi enthusiast, prolific pantser, sesquipedalian smartass.
    Obsessed with genre movies and narrative. Not actually that surly.

    Winner: @surlymuse ~ This story had a great mix of scary and funny. I was left laughing at the end, but a little uncomfortable with my own laughter … as though maybe I should be frightened instead. I like a story that leaves me conflicted, especially one that is only 96 words!

    TUESDAY TALE:

    “Where’d Dwight run off to?”

    “Oh, he saw these clothes hanging around, thought they were ghosts, and ran into the woods screaming something about ‘pulchritudinous specters frolicking in the febrile ether.’ Or ‘feeble jeepers’. I wasn’t really listening.”

    “Why would he do that?”

    “Either he watched Ken Russel’s ‘Gothic’ too many times, or I slipped something in his SoBe.”

    “You’re a monster.”

    “I know.”

    “So were these clothes your idea?”

    “Why do you ask?”

    “Because I found this shirt and these pants down by the river.”

    “Those are Dwight’s.”

    “Uh-oh.”

    96 words / @surlymuse

    HONORABLE MENTIONS!

    @ohthatmomagain ~ I totally felt this one. She captured a mother’s revenge perfectly.
    @charitygirlblog ~ Awesome imagery; nice use of the word as both a name and an identifier for the MC and a great gotcha ending.
    @AfterGaget ~ I loved what she did with this one! A really unique, almost everyday take on the prompt … but at the end, the woman had her revenge on the willful child.

    Everyone spread the word of the @Surlymuse  and JenD_Author for her awesome judgemastery!

    I would also like to invite our winner Daniel  to be a judge for next Tuesdaytales on January 24th , please let me know if your available 🙂

    It’s Snowing here! And I’m stuck indoors, Yay for storm warnings!
