Feeling a little sinful check out Envy

“There are many other ways of helping human kind besides healing their souls,” Saphon taps her own shoulder for emphasis, “I was chosen to be a guardian.” her face brightens with joy.

“Which is why you don’t have…” Micha stops realizing the harshness of his words.

“Wings,” she completes his thought, “I don’t need wings I get a greater gift than that.” Releasing his arm she falls to her knees and then places her palms to the transparent floor staring at Earth below them, “I get to be close to them and guide them from the front lines.”

    Tomorrow’s Preview: “…walk through the slow-seeping-crimson-waterfall…”

“realizing the harshness of his words.”
They don’t seem too hars to her. I like how you portay their relationship, it seems a little awkward, but mainly good.

The fact that he finds harshness in pointing out her definciency is telling later in the story… [eerie music ensues] You caught the foreshadowing. 🙂 thank you for noticing

I am really enjoying the contrast between Micha language/reactions and those of the other (older?) angels – it plays out really well. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Those words could have gone way harsher. If only more people exhibited kindness through discourse.

I loved Saphon in this scene for her coolness and togetherness–in spite of not seeming to be much higher ranked than Micha if at all–but there’s an added twist here from what I know of the story that I think makes this scene even better.
